Arlene Deemer

Arlene M. Deemer, 96, formerly of Williams Twp., PA passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Spring Village at Pocono, East Stroudsburg, PA.

She was born October 22, 1927 in Easton, PA and was a daughter of the late Victor and Gertrude (Rhode) Wester.

Arlene was a 1944 graduate of Easton High School, attended Penn State and graduated in 1948 from Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia with a registered nursing degree. For about fifteen years, she worked as a private duty nurse until she began raising her family. Arlene was a member of St. John's Church on Morgan Hill in Williams Twp. She liked to knit and crochet and was an avid reader.

She will be missed by her five daughters, Michele Jennings (Wayne), Madelyn Frankenfield, Melody Henley (Mark), Marjorie Ulkins (Doughlas) and Marsha Nasatka (Michael); ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild expected in July of 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, who died in 2016.

Graveside services in Raubsville Cemetery will be held privately.
