Kathryn Skinner

Kathryn A. Skinner, 64, of Riegelsville, PA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 in St. Luke's Upper Bucks Hospital.

She was born September 10, 1959 in Quakertown, PA and was a daughter of the late Darwin and Ruthann (Wilhelm) LaFevre.

Kathy was a 1977 graduate of Easton High School. She was last employed by Global Healthcare Management, Milford, NJ in quality assurance, retiring in 2019. Prior to that she worked for Young's Medical Equipment in Easton, PA. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Riegelsville and of the Fiber Artist group at the Riegelsville Library. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, was an avid reader and animal lover.

She will be missed by her children, Laureen Dawson, Jason Dawson and Abigail Skinner; her grandson, Mateo Dawson and her brothers, Donald Galloway and Charles and Leon LaFevre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, who died in 2021.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1 p.m. in St. John UCC, PO Box 236, 601 Easton Rd., Riegelsville, PA 18077. Friends may call at the church Saturday from 12 noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Interment of her ashes will be held privately at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church or because of Kathy's love of gardening, a gardening pail will be present at the celebration of life where friends are encouraged to donate their favorite flower seed and/or produce seed for her family to use in Kathy's garden in remembrance of her and to help keep her passion alive.
