Kenneth Eck

Kenneth D. Eck, 84, of Raubsville, PA passed away Friday, April 12, 2024 in his home surrounded by his family.

He was born June 23, 1939 in Kintnersville, PA and was a son of the late Thomas and Pauline (Strohl) Eck.

Ken attended school in the Palisades School District. He had various jobs until becoming employed by Georgia Pacific in Milford, NJ. He worked for the company for almost 50 years as a machine operator, retiring in 2004. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a former member of the Raubsville and Springtown Rod and Gun Club. He had been a member of the Suits Us Hunting Club in Monroe County and of the Williams Twp. Emergency Squad. Ken was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Durham, PA. Ken like all kinds of cars and especially enjoyed going to classic car shows.

He will be missed by his wife, Cleo, of 62 years. His daughters, Joann Pologruto, Paula Eck (Doug Litz) and Cheryl Grover (Reed); grandchildren, Luke and Kyle Pursell, Megan Gruhler, Morgan and Macie Litz, Kylie and Alexa Grover; great grandchildren, Adalynn, Hailey and Lilliana Pursell and siblings, Daniel Eck and Dolores Haley. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Mulligan.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Durham, PA, 821 Durham Rd., Durham, PA.
