Laurence Heuer

Laurence "Larry" Heuer, 76, of Milford, NJ passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA.

He was born on August 30, 1947 in Phillipsburg, NJ and was a son of the late Carl H. and Helen (Czaplicki) Heuer.

Larry grew up in Upper Black Eddy, PA and was a 1965 graduate of Palisades High School. He was an army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as a helicopter mechanic. Larry was last employed as the assistant master mechanic by the State of New Jersey's Police Department where he worked for about 27 years, retiring in 2009. He enjoyed woodworking, antique cars, western movies starring John Wayne, and historical fiction novels. He loved animals, including wildlife. He liked gardening and being outside but he especially love being with his family during holiday meals and celebrations, where he was the grill master.

Larry will be missed by his wife, Frances, of almost 38 years and his children, John Heuer and Lauren Heuer (Mark Davis). He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl T. Heuer.

Funeral services will be held privately. Interment will be in Nockamixon Union Cemetery, Ferndale, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
